At least 8 city blocks before you're actually over water. Looking west from 2nd street

The Bridge Looms

Towers on the PA side.  The bridge shakes for large trucks and trains.

Nothing but Air.   There are no guard rails or netting once you're on the bridge. The wall is about 3' high.

View over the wall. Marinas on Delaware Ave. Walt Whitman Bridge in background. Camden waterfront on left.

Train Tracks on Lower Level

End of the razor wire... nothing but air on both sides of the walk way.

End of marina pier

Same Marinas; view from mid-span

The bridge was almost endless.......

The Camden waterfront

What do they keep in the towers ? Police bicycles. On the NJ side.

The walk back:

New Graffito.  This was not there when i walked to Camden.

Pine Street

Looks like it might have been the Commodore Barry hotel (?)

Red Bricks on Pine.

4 signs on the bridge.
